The Debutantes and the Programme
The Opernball opens with the entrance of the debutantes — some two hundred couples of the Jungdamen- und Jungherrenkomitee — in white gowns and tails, followed by the polonaise and the traditional call of "Alles Walzer" that opens the floor to all guests.
